Follow the link. It's hard to believe really. I apologise if this is a genuine item but as with other suspect sale bikes there always seems to be a total inability to write english correctly or have any knowledge of the product. "Plastic Wheels"?

I agree with what you say and I did apologise before starting. Just always seems to be that suspect ones have bad spelling and limited knowledge of the product. But then again that is usually what makes them stand out as suspect.
Kimbers,we have all done it, posted and then thought bugger that's wrong!!
probably jsut someone with no idea. I wouldn't say it was too suspect.
Bargain, bid for it!
I don't know, I know plenty of people who have come out riding with me on a borrowed bike, loved it, splashed £1k on a nice bike, never ridden it since and don't really know what they've got. receipt and manual is a good sign, bit concerned about those plastic wheels though?
I asked him through eBay about the plastic wheels. To quote - "they are spoked wheels with plastic rims to make them extra lightweight". I suppose they could be carbon rims, which is after all a plastic composite. But some how I doubt it.
I can confirm that the Core 20 has never come with plastic wheels.
They're Alex rims. Alloy, not 'plastic'. Although to be fair, if the guy doesn't know a great deal about bikes then he may have thought they were plastic because they could be a lot lighter that what he was used to.
Looks like a nice little bike though. Could be a bargain for someone!
