I'm trying 2 sus out whether or not I can convert a double ring 2011 xtr m980 chainset into a single ring 2 run on my zesty 514 and with an ethirteen chain device. Any ideas guys?
yes....homebrewd components....google they do the rings

ive got an m985 race chainset running with a 30t with 1 11-36 out back,
works perfect
homebrewed are ****s - lie about shipping, take 6+ weeks to ship
if you going to make an order, make one in each size so you never have to order and wait again
m980 double is standard 4 bolt bcd - the m985 race is 88mm bcd
Hmmm ok thanks4 the replies, seems like it ain't gonna be a prob, 2 fit the ring, hopefully it should run with the ethirteen again device!
I run 2011 XTR with a Renthal single ring and Gamut p20 - No probs at all (just on M25 driving up from Les Arcs - 6 full days riding gnar without dropping the chain once 🙂 )
