Does anyone know where I can get hold of the tool for removing the black piston cover on XTR Brakes please?

Which model? I think it's a torx fitting of some kind.
Can I ask why?
Can you not just squeeze them out or blow them out with compressed air?

I don't think you can. Shimano brakes are not designed to be user-serviceable.

The big black cap isn't meant to come out so Shimano don't sell a tool to remove it.

You could cut down a suitably sized socket to fit the star... Though, how removable/refittable it is, is another question.

You can normally still get the pistons out though- if you fix it back on one side, the other should have space to come out.

Pistons seem stuck. Lever only pulls the once then there is no pressure. Feels like there is a massive airlock but I've bled the system.
