Hi,
I need a new outer ring but looking at options, can I use any of the Shimano 9speed 4 bolt 104bcd rings such as XT, SLX, Deore etc..?

yes its the inner that is different and requires either the proper XTR one or bodging with washers
I have two lightly used XTR outers if you want SH- email in profile but they will be cheap as I wont be using them
TBH I have a full set of rings if you want them but inner is a 22

Thanks for the advice Junkyard, a previous contact on here has come to the rescue with some rings which is great, but thanks for the offer.

I have a brand new one as iv'e just bought a brand new set of M970 cranks and not using the outer..
If you feel like spoiling yourself my addy is in profile. 😀
