Nice cranks, but the octalink version use a specific XTR octalink BB which is probably now hard to get and expensive
Think these also had the finish that wears off in about one ride, so if appearance is important to you, look elsewhere

I like em, but, when the outer ring wears out its the spider as well so its not going to be cheap and I'm not sure how easy it is to get hold of the correct bottom brackets.

am using them singlespeed so top ring not a problem.
the scuff thing is a bit more worrying as mine are already scuffed . (second hand) so i might polish the scuff area .
they are lighter and stiffer than the new ones though. feel really responsive .
my local bike shophave loads of old stock of the bb's cheap.
