Hi,

Would I be right in thinking that XTR 985 disc brakes come with an IS adapter or are they just post mount?

Cheers,

Andy

For all the Shimano brakes I've bought I've needed to buy a separate adapter as they've been sold as lever-hose-caliper, separate rotor and separate adapter. Could be either if you're buying a complete set-up bundle.

Cheers, just found a SHIMANO adapter SM-MA-R-P/S which looks about right 😀

If you're buying the brakes at the same time Rose Bikes are always worth a look. My adaptors from Rose were ~£4 vs ~£7 UK price. P&P needs to be added though, was ~£5 for a complete front and rear brakeset.

Cool, I'll have a look on the Rose site.

I've always ordered at the weekend and the package has arrived before the next weekend. I think the fastest was 3 days. You can track the progress of your parcel across Europe on the DHL website.
