Need some cheap and tough rings for 2004-2007 XT HTII cranks as mine are practically toothless.
Get some race face ones, they're far better and longer lasting than Sh!tmano

I know at least SLX chainrings don't fit onto 2004-2007 XT HTII cranks arms without minor modification
Are RF and Shimano definitely interchangeable though?
I found an SLX middle was slightly too tight to fit on an Evolve spider.

I was running 2005 XT cranks and race face fitted without a problem. It was the small and middle ring I replaced. Shimano rings seem to be made of cheese.

As long as the BCD is the same then yes
Im running 2008 race face race rings on an M770 chainset without any issues at all.
