Evening,
Just taken a set of old xt disc brakes off an Orange 5 to put on a new project. I had to cut the hose to remove them. I was able to reuse the male(?) connector but the brass olive was not salvagable. Rummaging around my shed I found some black ones from a set of Maguras - they seem to fit but have I taken my life in my hands? Is an olive just an olive or are they system specific?

I have no idea, but you should be able to just pop into your local store and pick some up for a couple of quid, so why take the risk that they don't fit quite right?
