I have a pair of these fellas, personally I really like Sidi shoes for both fit and quality. My Sidi Road shoes are over ten years old and MTB shoes must be 3-4 years old and still going strong.

Afraid not as I'm a confirmed Sidi user.

I had a pair of those shimano M230s, for the price they are really good, i used them for 4 or 5 yrs for trail riding and racing alike. Quite stiff, as they're a carbon sole, but not as stiff as an M320. Only issue i ever had was breaking a buckle in a crash, took a while to get a replacement.

I also had mine custom fitted, which was worth the £25 it cost, a lot more support and increased comfort.
