I've entered the British XC Series Round 1 at Sherwood pines on the 24th March. I've opted for the Open Catagory but i've noticed that they also have a Fun Catagory if thats of interest. The laps will be less than 6km and the Fun cat is 2 laps. Expert and Elite etc are racing on the sunday so it may be less intimidating out on the course.

I haven't raced since 1992!! So its a first for me in a long time.....

There will be a nutcracker series later in the year around catterick area which also looked good last year.

how up north?

Kielder marathon series are actually quite short so more XC than endurance. Nutcracker series is somewhere around Newcastle and South to Yorkshire.

Really not sure how that'll work, with everyone practicing on the Saturday ๐Ÿ˜•

NPS2 is at Dalby if you want to ride one of the best courses in the world.
