32 upfront and something like 11-32 out back.
I assume that the dérailleur will need to take up 31 teeth. According to SRAM - shortcage capacity is 30T so ..... in theory I might not be able to use my 32 sprocket out back but will I have any other problems with this config?
running a SRAM x.0 short with a 32 front 11-32 rear.
the SRAM max is really for a tripple ring. it also depends on chain growth of the bike.

Short cage X7 is ideal for use on a single ring setup like the one you want to run. It's kinda what they were designed for.

Run my lads 1x9 with SRAM XO short cage on 32 chain ring and 11-34 rear cassette. Short cage has easily enough capacity for a 1x configuration.
