hi
i have an x0 shifter but the carbon top case when tightened up still feels loose and moves around slightly is this normal
if anyone else has one could they see if there one feels loose or is a tight fit
i mean these are not cheap shifters so i would not expect the top case not to feel loose and i would of thought there would have been some sort of seal round the casing to stop s#*; getting in the workings
any help would be grateful
cheers steve

It is quite normal, but not right I don't think for the price of them! I've had 3 sets and all have rattled to some degree or another. I now use twisters, Ah! silence.

get a pack of little o rings from plumbing section of b and q and put one between cover and screw, that sorted mine out, only a quid or so

cheers everyone
i will try the o'ring
i might even put a bead of gasket seal around the casing to create a good seal as well ๐Ÿ˜‰
i still think for the price sram would have sorted this problem out

Until you change up 'BANG, BANG, BANG' no stealthy sprints with Grip Shift, half the field can hear you changing gear!

I must admit my triggers didn't rattle, they were rubbish for other reasons!

If I need to rely on the creeping up and silent approach it's already too late!

if any gasket seal gets inside it may gum up the gubbins, mine are 3 yrs old and no problem with dirt getting inside, the o ring snugs it up enough to stop any dirt getting in
