[Closed] X0 mech issue - slipping cable

After years of trouble free running on 'normal' X0 mechs I fitted a 20th anniversary one recently. Ever since I have been blighted by the cable coming out of the channel it runs through as it turns from the cable stop to the pinch bolt. Can't replicate it in the workstand so whether it relates to suspension movement I do not know but having to stop every so often to remount it so the gears index is a PITA. Anyone suffer similar issues?

Are all the bearings in the freehub and wheels all good? If not then the cassette won't stay in the same place and it will give you indexing issues.

EDIT - just read your post back. Ignore me....

Sounds to me like the cable is too tight? does it only happen in a particular gear? and do you have any ghost shifting?

There's an eye half way round the plastic cable guide that you may have missed threading the cable through. It stops the cable jumping out of the guide.

No. Shifting is all fine until this little gremlin rears it's head.

Cable is seated correctly when all is well. It slips/bounces out of the top of the guide channel.
