Does anyone have any experience of the forks mentioned above? Looking into them as a possibility for my new bike (Orange Clockwork 29er) but I can't find much in the way of reviews online, also, what are the other options for the price range £340 with a 15mm axle, 120mm travel and a tapered steerer?

Taa

Same boat and same bike! Beyond those cheap Revelations on CRC mentioned elsewhere today I can only find the Manitou Tower Pro's on CRC I can't find anything that ticks all the boxes for less than £400+.

I have just been looking at the CRC Revelations, they look like a bargain, how easy is it to adjust the travel from the 130mm they sell them as to 120mm, could an amateur do it or would it be better to take it to my LBS?

I've got a pair on my unit, only had one ride so far but I'm impressed so far ( I've got a pair of x-fusion vengeance on my full sus which I've ridden much more and they are superb)

No, mine were the 130s and were going on my Horsethief so I didn't bother. Came with spacers in the box though, so I'd assume you can reduce the travel.

The ones on CRC are the 130mm travel so I may take a gamble and buy them and hopefully I can reduce the travel to 120mm

I may have imagined it but I seem to recall Loco off here saying the Dual Airs could still be adjusted internally with the spacers but the new Solo Airs can't an need a new air spring to adjust the travel.

Really tempted by those myself but really can't justify it this month.

Dead easy to reduce the travel on an air rev.

You just need to drop a spacer onto the damper shaft.

I read on another post on here that it is possible to reduce the dual air forks but not the dual position air if I remember correctly..

For £269 and free returns I think I'll give them a go.
