My current bike came with an X-Fusion Manic dropper fitted. Previous 4 bikes also had the same post fitted with no issues at all.

Had current bike since May and had sticking issues probably from the second ride.

Post goes down ok but intermittently refuses to come back up and when it does its slow to come up. I can set it mid way and it just wont come up on its own so have to press the lever and pull up on the saddle which isnt ideal.

Been back top the shop I bought the bike from and it got sent off for a warranty repair. Came back and I dont know whatrs been done to it but 1st ride out on it and its exactly the same.

Any ideas on what to look at or check.

What state is the cable and outer?  I swapped dropper posts this week and in trying to reuse the cable it frayed and one strand started to unwind which caused it to stick in the outer. New cable fixed it.

Check that the seat tube collar isn't done up too tightly.

The other is to check the post (moveable bit) isn't bent - I bent mine and it would sometimes get stuck when it was all the way down.

It's a known issue on them according to my pal who has one on his Marin. He's never sorted his.

Yeah I had that. It was an occasional nuisance so I eventually gave the post away and replaced.

I had one on my Kenevo SL.  Stopped working after a few weeks, sent it off for warranty and bought a OneUp and sold the repaired X-Fusion.  The actuator is poorly designed, for one you have to attach the cable at the actuator and not the lever like on most other posts which is much more of a faff, and also seems to be really susceptible to dirt and moisture, mine was in a right state and pretty seized after only a few rides.
