I've got a four day pass stamped and I don't know what to do with them.

Any ideas for a road trip?

I've done most of the trail centres in Scotland and Wales and the Peaks is my local riding spot so was thinking of something different.

Condidered the Lakes but I don't know much about the area or where to go. Not keen on the idea of hike-a-bike but not adverse to a bit of pushing if the downhill warrants it.

Doesn't have to be trail centers, natural stuff is prefered. Although massive epics are probably not a good idea as I'm going to be on my own.

Starting from near Doncaster but prepared to drive just about anywhere.

Ideas?

How about scotland. Pick to significant points with rail access and ride between them. Try Aviemore and Fort William

when i ride solo i always try to stick to trail centres. Just think if i do fall off and crack me nutt more likely to be found at a centre than out in the wilderness. how about a tour of your favourite trail centres staying a night in each location

i'd go for Glentress, CyB, and Afan

What happened to my reply?????

Anyway, that idesa a bit far fetched, must be 24hours of driving in there!

7 stanes for some easy map free riding would be my choice. Same for the welsh centers. Or maybe a couple of days in the lakes followed by a couple of days in North Wales. Or come down to the South East, its supprisingly good once someoen shows you where the singletrack is (we don't do signposts)

Can't beat the Lakes really - alot of the best riding is Hike a bike though...totally worth it for the descents ๐Ÿ˜›
