I've ran WTB tyres before and always had problems with seeping sidewalls: does the new SG2 version fix this?
I've had weeping on a range of tyres - Schwalbe, WTB, Maxxis, Bontrager etc. It doesn't seem to affect them at all. I've hypothesised that it has something to do with temperature variances in my garage but not carried out any testing. to prove that.
Hu, I've never had noticable problems in recent years (not with Maxxis Exo, or Schwalbe Snakeskin/Superground, or Gravelkings), but found WTB's to be very noticable, but perhaps partly as the Exposure's I had are the smallest tyres I've ever ran tubeless (32mm's)
Wasn’t there a thing about sealant and how it reacted with certain tyres
If memory serves well I think Muc off was way worse than stans when I put on my WTB verdict tyre
SG2 version adds increased puncture resistance. I have WTB Riddler SG2 and use Orangeseal and haven't had any issues with sidewalls weeping.
I was easily convinced it seems: bought some 50mm Venture SG2
