Bike at a trig. Last minute Sunday evening decision to pop to the not quite so local.

Gotta get some chunkier riding in ahead of ard rock so this is as good as anything.

Black Rocks?

Yep. Been too long since I was up there which is downright silly considering it's just under half an hour to drive close enough to ride it.

I'm fortunate to have it as one of my loops from home - although some of the stuff on the lower sections scares the crap out of me/I won't even touch

Pretty sure you (and some others) send me some GPSs when I was staying up there. And yeah, some of the lower stuff is a bit industrial, isn't it!

Just a bit too far for me to ride there and have enough left in me to spend time riding there too!

Few trails there I've gone for a sniff at and just thought "how?!" - then again me five years ago would say the same about some of the ones I can ride now.

Can't wait to go back tbh. Even if just to get up the left hand route to the trig without dabbing.

Don't find the left hand too bad tbh - albeit a good few years since I've done it on a meat powered bike. The right hand side is the proper nightmare - I sometimes fail on an ebike, can't remember if I've ever cleared it on a normal one, albeit my mate did the other week
