What a great collection of photos folks 😀
Sitting here Monday morning tired but happy.
Started off the "weekend" with a pre-work scoot around the local woods on the Cascade. Lovely riding conditions:
Saturday was an a11y-family day out to Glentress. 31km/890m with a fair bit of ebike-assisted towing. A mish-mash of the original blue and red trails plus the new blue stuff at the end - plus a sneaky solo excursion off to ride Mud n Roots, Mild Peril, Deliverance and Redemption while Mrs a11y and the kids had an extended lunch break. The smiles on the kids' faces is why I do this 😎
Then a quick, solo Colsnaur in the Ochils on Sunday evening, making the most of the conditions. 30km/980m in just under 2hrs - perfect case use for my ebike as there's no chance I could hammer that one out on my non-powered bike in that time window.
Now sitting here with a smile and a coffee on a quiet holiday Monday morning after an early morning 75min swim session. Tired but happy.
Some rigid bike roaming this weekend. Pootling about the local area with no particular plan, just enjoying riding in the sun.
Stunning, if a little cold Eastern Moors solo ride. A good few folk out but all walking, didn't see another MTB. Got a load of PR's including Stranage Plantation. Loving the new Levo. Finished with a couple of Peroni at Fox House
The bike park (Fujiten) is opened again after the skiing season is over. They are replacing the ski lifts over the summer though so have to ride / push up to the top. It is surprisingly difficult considering I've been doing quite a lot on the road bike over winter. Maybe it's the attitude, but it's only around 1500m where the park is so not sure.
Anyway, view of Fuji from the bottom:
Snow still hasn't fully melted from the ski slopes
Another nice view of Fuji just as I got to the top
Couple of the trails
Nice to be back on the mountain bike, but they are only opened once every couple of weeks because of the ski lift replacement. Back onto the road bike next weekend.
Wasn't up for a big ride after finishing four days on the Gravel bike. Couple of hours on dusty local trails. Looks like I've lost my bike in the first photo 🙂 Good to be back behind "proper" bars!
Zwift, a walk and bike maintenance, like it has been for the last 5.5 weeks. Having a broken wrist sucks, especially when the weathers like it has been 😕

Mines only been 2 weeks, and I'm getting itchy to ride, and it's no way near as bad as your injury. Hoping you get back on the bike properly soon dude.
Travelling day for us as we move further down in Italy to Punta Ala. It was here back in 2013 that the EWS had its first race. We have heard so much as to how good it is that it had to be on our list of places to ride
Forcasts not that good for the next few days but can't wait to hit the Bandite trails
What fab weather for a bank holiday. Got to Tollymore before the crowds. Rode some trails that I’d never been on before. Generally excellent day.
Got to Tollymore before the crowds
good call, we were there yesterday, busy in the area around the river, but away from there and up towards The Drinns it was pretty quiet, good bivvy spot by the wall in your pic, or plenty of trees for a hammock 🙂
cheers,
Keith
Mid Wales for bike packing. A great first day ended with my mate ripping a brake hose out (don’t strap things to your forks). So day 2 was me going back for the car and his bike being fixed. Then a day ride today for

the best of the boys we’d missed. Fabulous, lots of fun, views and hills. Changing the plans was part of the fun
Just a short local loop yesterday.
This was one of those lucky shots taken while riding and holding the phone down by my knee facing backwards.
A bit further on we found some littler on the trail so obviously had to pick it up and remove from the hill. These things really should be banned in this day and age.
Back on the ridge the sky turned a bit angry. Not that it seemed to bother Flossie. And it wasn't long before the sun was back out again
And finally a shot of Floss admiring the view from the ridge back down to the farm and the valley she calls home.
