hi
bought a couple of these http://www.kaidomain.com/product/details.S023773 they turned up today look petty good for the money
but I've realised they are 4.2v input
i have some quality 18650 batteries so i was thing about using a box like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18650-Battery-Holders-1-2-3-4-Batteries-Serial-Parallel-Options-UK-Stock-/281199951833?var=&hash=item4178d2bfd9:m:mAnVj1M7FvzhKJf2RIaqAxA

but i would still need the connectors

or i can bin them and put it down to experience

If you use those battery holders then you just need to put the cells in parallel. You'll need protected cells. Connectors can be bought easily enough. Are they definitely 4.2v? There is a chance they are 8.4v and that's a typo or the inbuilt circuit can handle a wider voltage range.
