Hello,
Looking for good mud tyres for the Duster. There doesn't appear to be a great amount of clearance with the chain stays with the current 1.8" tyre on there. Rather than trial and error...
What fatter tyres have others gotten on the rear?
Normal or skinny duster? I have 2.3s in both. Don't really eide in claggy mud so i can't say i've bothered to check the clearance.

Yep skinny singlespeed and a geared loaner for friend who visit 🙂

i think 2.3 tires were the size that i had on my old mongoose fireball kenda nevegal's i think they were. i fitted them to my skinny duster (2011 green meenie duster mid) and they just about fitted without rubbing the chainstays. i wouldn't go any bigger than that though,the gap was very small.
Yep i'd say that was about right. Loadsa room with a set of beavers.
