I've got a Works Components headset and just want to check it includes all of the right bits before fitting. It's brand new from Works and is for a tapered headtube and steerer.

The instructions show a 'lower bearings sealing washer' which sits between the lower cup/bearing and the crown race but it's not in my set. Just checked the Works site and it only mentions the washer on the page for replacement standard 1 1/8 bearings so I'm wondering if it's not needed for the 1 1/2 lower?

Does anyone know for sure before I go back to Works?

I'm pretty sure that's just the bearing seal that is already in place in the lower cup; you need to pull this out when you change the bearings (I think they are standard Cane Creek headset bearings).

The lower bearing seal washer is the seal that sit's on the crown race.
You can see it here fitted to the crown race.
Top left component.
