[Closed] Chain guides

I bought a spesh SX Trail last year and have been having some great fun on it, now i'm stripping it to give it new bearings, have got some lighter forks and am thinking that the FSA chain pimp chain device is a bit overkill for me, I ride some drops and jumps but not many rock gardens on the isle of wight..
So I was thinking of getting a lighter and less draggy superstar xcr guide, the one that only keeps the chain at the top, are they much good? Will I regret it at bike park wales this summer?
