Looking at buying a pair to try them out as the temperature is starting to drop. I have only heard good things about them so far so but are there any doubters out there?
Cheapest i can find per pair is £10.79 at Wiggle. Anywhere else cheaper?
Cheers

they are excellent, buy them.

they seem to come up small. so buy larger than you think you need. you may need to stretch them a bit before you put them on.

I tried out a pair yesterday, and found my feet stayed comfortable despite being totally saturated 5 minutes after starting the ride - however, it wasn't particularly cold. I seen lots of report about them being good, but slightly prone to shrinking. I got the medium which is a perfect fit on my 8-9 size feet, so next time I'll get large so I can machine wash

they do come up small, i am a size 12 and they are like ankle socks.
far better in my humble opinion are smartwool socks

I got mine for £11 inc post from Evans, as Wiggle were out of stock in most sizes. Paid 4pm Thursday, delivered 10am Friday (UPS)

I have used them for the last two winters for both road and mtb and I have no complaints. TBH I think I wear them all year round to be honest - seem just as comfortable in the summer as the winter

I would definitely buy them again. I only have one pair and they seem as good as new. Before these I had some Assos ones which I probably only got one full winter season out of.

i have had them in the past , found them to shrink as mentioned above and the big toe area wore out rather quickly in the 2 pairs i had

when i spoke to their email contact they said i should cut my toe nails more....which is all good bar the fact i have no toe nail on one foot ....

I use endura thermolite socks with great success and for REALLY cold days i have some polaris socks (bought at the same time as woolie boolies and have outlasted by a factor of 2 so far)

I almost exclusively use these. Half of mine are from Wiggle, the rest from Krank Dirtwear.

Cheapest for Woolie Boolies is for about £7 a pair from NZ - from Krank Dirtwear.

(Made in USA, shipped to NZ - and still cheaper than in the UK...)

Smartwool socks are, as mentioned, very good. I used to buy them from Moontrail in the US - don't know what shipping will be these days.

Another fan here, winter and summer use. Never had any problems with shrinkage (machine washed 30'C) or worn toes. I do wear shoes a size larger with them which may have something to do with the comfort and them not wearing out excessively. I get them at local bike shop (at FoD Cycle Centre), think they're about £11

They are the only winter sock that keeps my feet warm. I love them! I have found they can shrink if washed too hot, but that's true of all woollen garments so no biggie :o)
