Some of you might know that I found the guy that had my old Gios, Just today he said he would let me have it back for free if I service his mountainbike.
So friday I'm picking up my old Gios with full Campag Chorus and Cinelli. Will need to source some early Ergos as this has downtube shifters
Geeeerate.

Always good to get your old steeds back (because they were called steeds back then...)

Had a brief look at it from afar. I see it still has the Bennoto tape I put on it nearly twenty years ago, the saddles at a jaunty angle, and it has Cinelli track type bars fitted which was a fairly popular UK choice back then.
I hope it doesn't turn out to be utter pants and I can't wait to spruce it up.
I'm also hoping it was the first eight speed I fitted soI can bung some old Ergos on or adapt some latter nine speed ones.
Hopefully first piccy Friday evening.
