how do they actually get the distance - I'm guessing total completed laps and then they take the time for the lap that completes after the hour is finished and assume linear time vs distance.....
So if you do N laps in say 59:51, then the last lap takes 18s but you only get credited for 9/18 = 125m on top of 250 x N?
