I’m after a 160mm ultegra rotor. No-one seems to have any stock. Any reason not to use a shimano mtb rotor instead - are they different thicknesses or anything?
Thanks

Apart from probably being a nats heavier no difference. Should all be 1.8mm thick

I run Shimano MTB rotors on my Ultegra-equipped gravel bike without any problems.

Sigma Sports reckons they're no longer available to buy. It looks like the new Ultegra 8100 uses XT rotors anyway.

MTB CL discs are now the default for new Ultegra and Dura Ace. MTB ones are lighter.

@soundninjauk I think that's because the pros all ditched the Dura ace rotors in favour of MTB ones as they were actually lighter. Think Shimano decided not to bother making road specific ones any more
