Is there any ok riding around Woburn to be had or has it turned into a mudfest like everywhere else. Basically is it rideable as not?

Was planning to either head to Thetford or Swinley otherwise as it drains ok there.

If Woburn is ok, any fancy a Saturday morning pedal?

I imagine it wouldn't be worth it at the moment. The bike park area was the only real all-weather option, so with that closed I'd give it a miss. I saw on twitter that some organised ladies ride for this weekend has been cancelled.

From what I've read here it also sounds that large parts of Swinley are shut at the moment due to weather conditions.

Thetford might be your best bet - or a play at Chicksands if that's your kind of thing (I think there is a 4X race on Sunday).

I imagine even Woburn which is normally rideable all year round will have turned into a quagmire.

Damn. I thought the felling was just at the jump area?

Yes ride Trial/DH the whole shebang so could run down the dual/4x at Chicky but fancied something different. Might go and explore Thetford a bit more. For info Lime burner was wet but fully rideable 2 weeks back and the beater trail has a fair bit of felling going on at the start.

Was up Woburn last Sunday and some parts were awful.

It will be muddier than normal as you expect but will probably be in better condition than other places due to the way it drains.

Stay out of the less sandy "backwoods" and ride the sandy trails off the main centre sandy track and it ain't too bad in all honesty!
