Read one anecdote about skipping on the 11T rear cog using the 11 speed Connex link, also read about people using the 10 speed Connex links with no issue on Shimano 11 speed chains.

I know this doesn't answer your question but why not use the Shimano link?
Connex links are reusable and removable without tools, very handy if you're out on the road or if you take your chain off frequently.
I’ve used them without issue on both slx 11 speed & 105 10 speed rear cassette. No skipping etc. and perfect shifting.

Connex links work fine on XT 11-40 cassettes but rather than buy the link I’d buy the 11Sx chain with the link included. The connex chains last really well.
