First nightride of the season involving breaking of ice.
Got home just before the hyperthermia set in. Yikes, its cold....
Anyone else out?
The novelty of freezing cold has already worn off tbh! But was still enjoying icebreaking this afternoon. KRRRRRRRR
No ice here (Warsaw) then again i'm not out on my bike ๐
I shall submit ice/snow reports from bikeless (but drunk, probably) Vienna and Bucharest next week ๐
We've had the odd night and morning for weeks now, -4 in September. Bloody cold out there tonight too.
Love hard frosts.
Yeah it's only 18c here today. Freezing! We've had storms the past couple of days but summer's on it's way.
(In Western Australia btw)
I'm waiting fir the wind to die down but it's my last opportunity for a midweek ride this morning so....
Hope you lot enjoyed either some sloe gin or some hot toasted nuts!!
Jon: hip-flask was loaded, but only 2 of us made it out. Went exploring up by The Wall.
How's Chch? bit warmer? ๐
Lovely and cold this morning on the way in. Bring on the snow ๐
@bandito . Excuse to start shopping for new winter kit?
@JT . Got a Gloworm on helmet - works great.
Snow you say? Off for a sledge and walk with the kids later.

For a hundred metres or so either side of a flooded bit on the way to work this morning the road was black ice side to side. It was quite scary.
Yes, winter is here...
Note to self: Must fit the winter tyres to Mrs Gti's car this weekend.

Are you trying to cause a blizzard tomorrow?
ChCh is fun. Steep hills and wicked trails. Went to Craigueburn and did the Edge, which was a little bit uncomfortable.
Glad the Gloworm is good - might be a while before I need night-riding lights though ๐
Job hunting sucks but there's some stuff around.
Very cold feet today due to deep 4'C puddles ๐ Winter boots may be added to Xmas list
We've had the first rain for ages here and it has been proper chucking it down since yesterday afternoon! All around the city it has been falling as snow so I think this evening we'll be buried under the stuff too. The mountains down the road have had about 20cm of snow so far. Looks like the cyclo cross race this weekend is going to be fun. ๐ฟ
