Can anyone recommend a pair of MTB winter riding trousers that don't cost the earth?
I got some ronhill tail microlight pants cheap for around £25,
Waterproof, although not cycling specific they do the job and you can velcro the calf to keep it away from drive chain.
shorts and 3/4 Roubaix bib, with socks on you have about <....> this much leg exposed, never gets cold
The only ones I found long enough are Avenir/Raleigh ones, about £25 and excellent
i use endura, got singletracks, commuters and gridlocks
i just rotate them depending on how cold it is.
Got a set of Altura boulders from my LBS last week. £30.
Haven't tried them in anger yet 🙂
Ronhill
No they don't look great but they work well and its not a fashion paraid.
