So what new gloves for winter cycling (road and mtb), snowball throwing, business trips to Sweden? You know, the usual winter malarky.

I had the Gore Countdowns but found the thumb was far too short! I ended up getting a pair of Marmot XT gloves and they've been great! ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes the thumb is on the short side but usually "stretches" ๐Ÿ™‚ But I think the glove comes up a bit small overall - so get 1 size bigger ๐Ÿ™‚

ANyone remember a link being posted about really well-made builders gloves that were more than capable of MTB duties but about a tenner a pair?

Thanks

Those Marmots look like a good option. The Gores are a little coiny.

Kuny's or custom leather craft. Didn't think much of the winter gloves though, not enough cuff. Summer ones are ace.
