Just thought i'd share the latest addition to the family. Might not be to most tastes but first impressions are very positive; climbs well considering the build (heavy build compared to others), descends like my 4x bike and has a real fun feel to it.

Had a superlong criteria for a good friend to battle with & he tried and tried to get me in the 29er crew but this was the final choice.

Hope you like. And share your thoughts if you feel like it...

Cheers

Matt

Hey, yes its a Lopes SL, impressions are very very good. first time ive run MRP since i had a bad encounter with a G2 on an old session that i really hated! it runs quiet as anything and is light as buggery as its got rid of everything that isnt needed. great for HTs & short travel FS's too I guess. would be strongly recommending to every customer at work. Comes in white but I couldnt face it haha

How are the forks? Interesting choice.

frame is Identiti's AKA. size choices were 17" and 19" so had to opt for the larger with a nice short stem. rides super quiet and doesnt kick you up the arse too bad!

Forks-wise i've been told to give them a good length of time to bed in but they are feeling good. They are plush straight out the box and you can dial the compression in pretty easily. I like running forks fairly stiff and they are not feeling out of place lined up next to my Reba Teams, Fox 32s & Boxxer RCs. Only slight gripe is the axle: its a two-handed process to tighten the axle but its not biggie really!
