Ive got a Shimano FH M525 which I need to replace the freehub body on. These seem to be about £20 just for the body.
This body here is listed at fitting M525/M510 Hubs

I was just flicking through the clearance items and noticed this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=88244
The complete M510 freehub at half price. Would I be able to take the M510 body off and fit it to my M525 freehub as a cheaper solution?
Possibly! Shimano freehubs are often very subtly different. You may need to swap your old seal for the new one as they are sometimes different heights. Nothing beyond the reach of a bit of creative bodgery
Yes, it is the same part.
