UPDATE: CLASSIFIEDS section refreshed, redesigned, searchable: Go take a look
i need to get out a bit more. there is lots of woodland around here but very few trails; mostly fireroads. i thought it'd me more interesting if i were to swap the cog over to a larger one and ride these on the fixie, but i won't get far on the 23c tyres i have on there at the moment.
what width tyres can i run without suffering from tyre flop/folding? don't have to be anything special.... cheaper the better, might even go to the local DIY place and buy some cheap rubber.
the rims are these:
a 'bump' before i go to 'work'....
Page 6 of
suggests max tyre width of 25mm
Manufacturers always seem to recommend really conservative sizes for road rims.
FWIW the Ksyriums/ CXP33/Open pros that I have, happily take 37mm tyres.
