Well, yes ultimately I will...
However in the shorter term; what will happen if I remove the drive side spacer from my XT crank/BB combo? By removing it, I'll get a much better chainline on the 11 speed setup I've put on the rear... It's a bit 'grindy' in 1st gear at the mo ๐
But.... what, dear forum, are the consequences?!?

If you pop it on the non-drive side it should be fine, assuming you don't have two there already.

yeah, it's a 73mm BB, so just one on the d/s....
so, that'll do the trick then?... hmmm, seems logical

I'm thinking about doing this too, but having never fitted a BB I do not know where the spacer is. Do I need to remove the BB cups to get at it?
