Anyone else returned something to Wiggle for a refund lately and got told i may take more than 14 days to issue the refund due to them having issues?

Just returned an unused item as it was the wrong size for me when trying it on and the next size up is out of stock so i asked for a refund

Was told they are having issues with the returns process and it could take more than 14 days to issue the refund

Normally i wouldn't mind waiting for the refund to be issued but its not a small sum of money and Ive now found the item in the next size up elsewhere

Looking on the Government website it says retailers must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back

I returned a stem that was sent by Wiggle that was not the length ordered.  They received it on 2nd Sept. and I haven't received a refund yet.  This incorrect item was just one among many **** ups over the last week.  I have received 2 successive Thomson Covert dropper posts that don't work from CRC.  I'm still waiting for a refund for one of them, which they have received.  A Shimano group set arrived from Wiggle with the wrong size chain ring and the incorrect shifter-I Spec B rather than I Spec II.

Expecting to receive the actual product you ordered or that the item you ordered is functional is hardly asking for the 'moon on a stick'.

I've got better things to do with my time than to repeatedly complete and print out return forms and postage labels, and make visit after visit to a store to post incorrect or broken items back to a supplier.

They quickly processed a refund for me yesterday - I always use PayPal with them (and CRC) for that reason, refunds are no hassle. Plus their well publiicised security issues form a whiel back means I'm not keen on sending then credit card details

My work colleague and I accidentally conducted a little experiment this week. We both ordered brand x droppers within a few minutes of each other on Tuesday to be delivered to same address. Mine was from wiggle and arrived this morning. His was crc and has yet to be dispatched...
