I currently have been used to riding with nuke proof warhead bars which are 760mm and are brilliant fun. But for my race bike there are a bit over kill.

Anyone have any suggestions of a race handlebar in the region of 640-680mm? Want it to be fairly lightish if possible.

Forgot to say it's got to be a flat bar.

Just fitted a Truvativ Stylo world cup ss flat bars.700mm long with 10 degree sweep. Feel very nice and I'm loving having barends on again.

Heavy? You reckon? Admittedly they aren't carbon but for something that length and that diameter, I'm not convinced you could get much lighter with worry of it folding in half...certainly not at the price.

The bars they replaced were 5g lighter so I can't say I've noticed any weight difference...so no issues from me.

I want to run ergons. Salsa say no bar ends on the pro moto carbon.

Any thoughts? Will it just break when I tighten them up?
