Seem the ads in the mags for these, they seem to be same price as manufacturer pads, so am I missing something?

You'd buy them for the same reason you might buy nukeproof carbon forks- you like the logo and you don't mind that they're identical to products other companies sell for 2/3rds the price 😉

I wondered about the price, I use discobrakes pads that work out at about £4 a set for organic or £6 a set for sintered, but I wouldn't say a brand is overpriced without using them. The Nuke proof pads could be better than the OEM pads for all I know. I use what I use for economy & the fact that they seem as good or better than the Hope pads & longer lasting.
