66 SLs. Seems like they have always done it whatever state of service or whatever the damper is set to. Is it inevitable with some forks?

Air in there somewhere? Oil level in the damper too low allowing air to squish thru the damper?

Nah it's not the squelching of air in the oil. Definitely enough in there. Just a wheezing.

Normal, my 66SL’s do it as do both my sets of Mattoc’s.
I have too many sets of forks.
