I have herd stories that the WHW gets a bit problematic somewhere along the banks of loch lomond.
Can anyone confirm this and whereabouts along the east coast of the loch does the WHW become unridable?

The section between Inversnaid and the north end of the loch.
Standard solution is to take the ferry across to Inveruglas and ride up the road (busy!) to rejoin at Inverarnan.
