Just been up to my dad's garage to sort the trailer out and was thinking that it's bloody cold. Surprised the missus suggested going away. ๐Ÿ™‚
Anyway we're off up to a site near Ambleside tomorrow for plenty of cycling and walking. Just hope we have enough to wrap us and the five kids up at night.
Anyone else braving it?

Yup Saturday night.
Aiming for that pub in alfriston on the sdw.
Refuel there and sleep in a hedge.
Back the other way in the morning.
Am taking waterproofs.

Sleep in a hedge? Sounds cosy. ๐Ÿ™‚

For the first time at Easter in a long time, we're not this weekend.
Gutted.

Yep, Oban for the weekend, then over to Mull for a week. I'm selling it as character building! The kids still think they'll be building sand castles, I reckon it's more likely to be snowmen...

We were planning to go camping in the borders for a couple of nights but given the forecast last weekend have decided to postpone till another weekend and do something less weather dependent over Easter. Gotta be flexible camping in March. Or stubborn.

Would normally but sacked it off due to the weather. However facebook reminded me yesterday that three years ago I built an igloo with the kids, easter must have been later that year.

Oh and op, camping with FIVE kids ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Nope, offered the use of a house in Kendal for the weekend, then saw the forcast.

Fantastic few days in Porlock, worst of the weather at night and quite dry and sunny during the day. Four great rides ๐Ÿ™‚
