Not having much luck sourcing these.
Can't see anything on the Silverfish site or the usual on line sources.
Anybody have any suggestions as I need a freehub mechanism for a hub.
Thanks
Richard

I struggled with this for my wife's bike. The rear hub bearings were shot. Took it to the LBS who replaced the bearings and freehub for £20.

Ohh cheers for that, I'd e-mailed Charlie the bikemonger about SS freehubs last week as Salsa use them, but he didn't have an answer.

A bit of googling and I think they're rebuildable. There looks like a circlip, then 2 bearings, and the pawls and spring were common to a lot of other hubs (3 double pawls and a circular spring running in the groove down the middle). So if the freehub itself is OK then the rest might be replaceable. I wasn't impressed by bearing life so £20 on SKF bearings might be better spent than £20 on another freehub.

I ended up buying one on eBay from the US when the freehub went on the Formula hub on my Mukluk.

Salsa were absolutely useless; they didn't even know what the correct size hex key I'd need was - had to buy one as it was bigger than anything I had.
