bout time mine was stripped and cleaned, but it all seems to be held together by a lockring with 3 cutout bits on it. is it a case of *ahem* carefully tapping it with a hammer and screwdriver to loosen, or is there a cunning tool to do the job? (probably overpriced)
cheers

There is indeed a tool,
Although I'm not sure where you can buy it in the UK. Alternatively you could use a lockring spanner like will sells.

24 quid.
Or just use your screwdriver and hammer.

ah a lockring spanner. might be able to dig one out the right size, good thinking 🙂
certainly not paying £24 for a spanner, so hammer and screwdriver it is if i cant find one.
thanks a lot
