Was planning on going tomorrow but I've just seen a notification saying the south loop is closed. Anyone know the latest conditions? I'm heading from Blackpool so unfortunately it's a long way to go if it's half closed.
Most of the South loop is closed (Blue and North Red are still open). Actual open trails have held up pretty well in all the recent rain but I definitely wouldn't drive up from Blackpool just ride it.
Well that's that then! Don't know what plan B is!
Do a loop involving the BWs at Grizedale. Will be a bit splashy but worth the drive.
Drive up and ride the north and the blue
Have a coffee drive to Keswick ride up to skidaw house / Lonsdale fell and enjoy some great single track.
Drive home feeling you had a good day on bike
