Not having had a new MTB since 2008 I am putting together a bike at the minute and the last piece of the puzzle is the hoops.
Im after some new wheels after getting the readies together. (was considering 2nd hand) Its a 140mm hard-tail and it will be mostly trail centre type stuff I do.
Im 75kg. Budget is £370 ish. I fancy a go at the tubeless thing so it seems that Stans Crest rims are very popular. Id like to mate these to Hope hubs as well.
Just looking for recommendations from you guy's who know more than me!

Hope Hoops Pro2 evo with Crest will do the job but if you consider yourself a bit of a clumsy oaf on the bike then go for Flows. If you're somewhere in between the two, there are Arch EX rims which you could get for your budget...Moonglu will build you a set with Hope Pro2 evo.
Stans crests, pro IIs. Fantastic wheelset, under budget too I think. Occasionally see some on the classifieds - worth a look/search.

Hope hoops, flow or crest, I like the flow personally. Should have enough left over for some salsa skewers.

Go with crest or flow on a standard set and they should come in under £300.
I've had Mavic cross trails UST on two of my bikes for the last four years. no problems with them. you should be able to pick a set up for £360
Bought some flows from Moonglu there.
