Which waterproof and from where for less than 90 pounds?
Ideally red and packing down fairly small.
Needed by Weds for a Scottish trip!

I was gonna suggest Montane H20, but I don't think they do it in red.
Try this

I know it's not red but it's had some great reviews, I've got one and it worked for me yesterday in the pouring rain in the peaks

This is well rated for the money but not seen one in red.. Go Outdoors have stock:

It might pay off for you to have a look through the outdoorsmagic classifieds, theres always decent stuff for sale on there.
Paclite is not that durable (in my experience at least), the grey inner scrim tends to rub off exposing the goretex underneath, which eventualy rubs off and lets water in.
one of these, as good as eVENT, imo

I've got the red endura flyte - I Don't recommend it.
Its light and packs down well but its crap at breathing without a vent open - and when ones open you get wet!
what size you after, I have 2 jackets both red, one must go, see here http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-gore-alp-x-amp-altura-crosslite-waterproof-jackets
