I had a bit of a dodgy stomach today, so I did indeed have my flow.

5 hours of misery. Started at 6, two hours without rain then rain and hail for 3 hours. Soaked to bone. Bike chainsucking like a bastard. Wanted to do more but couldn't stop shaking. Went and bought a road bike to cheer myself up ๐Ÿ™‚

Original plan was to do the long - long mynd. Woke up this morning at 6 to full on, road flooding rain and a temp of only 5 degrees.

We poss need to MTFU, but it didn't stop raining here (burton) until about 4 this afternoon which would have meant a long wet day in the saddle. Instead I had a great time round the local trails - they seem to drain well and the ground was nice and tacky (apart from the roots!!)

Yeah, proper rock clattering brain-out descent on the Hayfield side of the Jacob's Ladder track with water filling in the gaps between the rocks for that authentic ribbon of water riding experience ๐Ÿ™‚

Erm, dude...

Chalk up one more for the 'got my flow on' group, new trails, great ride, great company, and a lovely pub lunch to round it all off.
