Just about to buy a new bike and really like the look and feel of the Trek's as I have ridden one before for the past three years (road bike). Is there any one Madone for around the 1000-2000 quid mark that sticks out as being a really good buy?

I love my Madone 5 series, I suppose your choice is between:
Trek Madone 3.5 H2
Trek Madone 4.5 H2
The 4.5 has a better frame but some lesser components so maybe depends on how likely you are to upgrade it, both fair value though.

Evans are selling the 2011 Madone 5.5 frame and forks for £999in a size 54 or 56. leaves you a grand to sort the rest.... I've got a 5.5 and it's very nice 😀
