I'm up north in meetings tomorrow, and will have my b ike to make the trip worth while. Is Dalby a good option for a no thought, follow the yellow brick road kind of ride before I drive all the way back down south? Up for about 3 hrs ride

Don't see why not. It's about an hour away depending on where in York you are. Red route's comfortably do-able in 3 hours.

Yeah, Dalby's a good route, and the right length you're after.

Don't forget your £7 to get in though.

£7 to ride Dalby in this weather is well worth it.

Get a receipt, bung it on expenses. Not an MP are you? 🙂

woody2000, I am just a bit tight after paying for the floatinag palace for my mallards, fixing the lighbulbs on my private landing strip and paying somebody to get me out of the taxes I make everyone else pay.

Can we have a reset button on our MP's please!!!?!?!?!

Which you have to drive down to ride if you're coming from afar. If you're a tight get then you could park up before the gates and ride in from there but a) you don't get the bogs/cafe at the end of the ride, b) you have a massive slog up the hill to end the ride on and c) you're not contributing to the running and upkeep of the forest.
